2013 MnCareers Helps Teens and Adults with Career Planning

Career planning: it’s not just for kids anymore. Today's job market calls for students and workers of all ages to know their career options, what they can offer employers, and to be willing to get more training if needed. That's where MnCareers comes in.

Now in its 15^th year, MnCareers helps teen and adult explorers to access the information needed to make informed and appropriate college or employment plans. The 2013 edition of the annual publication will include updated data on:

• Wage ranges for 200 occupations in Minnesota
• Skill requirements and employer expectations
• Current employment figures and job growth
• Contact information for Minnesota colleges and training centers

The award-winning MnCareers is now accepting pre-orders; distribution will begin in the fall of 2012.

The 130-page publication is often used by counselors and advisers working with dislocated workers in WorkForce Centers and other employment centers. It is also widely used in high schools, community colleges, and universities. Parents, leaders of community programs, and others working with teens and job seekers also use MnCareers to help individuals with career exploration.

MnCareers is produced by iSeek Solutions, a joint-powers organization comprised of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the University of Minnesota, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, Minnesota Department of Education, Office of Higher Education, Office of Enterprise Technology, and other state agencies.

Pre-order prices ($73.75 for a box of 25 copies) are good through July 1, 2012. Orders received after July 1 will cost $125 a box. All single copies are $8 each. Only pre-payment by check or purchase orders will be accepted for 2013 pre-orders.

Customers are encouraged to place their orders for 2013 MnCareers early. The past two editions sold out quickly. Delivery is guaranteed only to those who pre-order before June 30 by sending in this order form.
